PROjEN are proud to join the British Safety Council

PROjEN are delighted to announce that they are now a member of the British Safety Council and are registered to provide BSC Level 1 Awards in Health and Safety at Work, recently carrying out this training on behalf of GSK.

Making the workplace a safer environment is a key remit for everyone within PROjEN. The Company takes its commitment to Health and Safety very seriously, reviewing its policies, procedures and standards on a regular basis to ensure that the head office and various construction sites offer a safe environment for their employees, customers, suppliers and visitors. Evidence that this commitment works is shown by the Company’s nine consecutive RoSPA Gold Medal awards for Health & Safety performance.

The British Safety Council is one of the world’s leading independent authorities on health, safety and environmental sustainability and is seen as a further benchmark by which the Company can be measured. PROjEN’s Managing Director Martin Seabrook is delighted with the Company’s success:

“I am delighted with PROjEN’s outstanding Health and Safety record which I believe is a welcome recognition of the hard work that has been made over recent years to raise the levels of Health and Safety across sites. This record, which includes zero reportable accidents to PROjEN’s personnel, is one of the factors why the Company has been successful in receiving the ROSPA Gold Medal award for the last nine years”.

PROjEN has a diverse client base which includes a substantial number of large blue chip organisations. The company’s record for client retention is exceptional and the outstanding Health and Safety record highlights PROjEN’s commitment to sustaining long-term business success with both their current and prospective clients.

Employees at PROjEN Ltd raise £810 for Local Charity

PROjEN, the specialist engineering project management company, based in Preston Brook, Cheshire is proud to announce that employees have managed to raise £810 for charity through Christmas donations and a raffle during PROjEN’s Christmas party held on Friday 10th December 2010.

The money raised was donated to Halton Haven Hospice which provides a range of services aimed at supporting patients at different stages of their illness. Services include a day hospice, physiotherapy, complementary therapy and family support services. PROjEN have supported the Hospice throughout 2010 and will continue to do so in 2011, with the aim to build a ‘Woodland Walk’ for patients and families at the hospice.

PROjEN’s Christmas party was held for the benefit of the Company’s 100 strong personnel along with their guests and consisted of pre dinner drinks, a three course meal and a live band to finish. During the evening all guests contributed to a charity raffle with the prizes being presented by PROjEN’s Managing Director Martin Seabrook.

PROjEN are always looking at ways to help raise funds for worthwhile causes and are delighted with the level of participation and enthusiasm that PROjEN’s employees demonstrate when doing so. PROjEN’s Managing Director Martin Seabrook commented:

“It is fantastic to see the level of support and commitment everyone at PROjEN show when participating at fundraising events. It is great to see the money raised going to support such a worthwhile cause”.

In contrast to the much publicised economic gloom affecting many businesses PROjEN have raised a substantial amount of money over the last year and will continue to do so; supporting whatever charities and good causes that they can into 2011.
