In the UK British Nuclear Group’s activities cover specialist nuclear site management, remediation, electricity generation, reprocessing and clean-up. Working with the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority BNFL aims to achieve its clean-up programme safely, quickly and cost-effectively.
PROjEN working at BNFL in Sellfield, Cumbria, worked on the THORPE project providing Engineering expertise in the design of equipment used in reprocessing uranium fuel rods.
