PROjEN are RoSPA Occupational Health & Safety Award Winners 2007

PROjEN, the award winning Project Management Company based at Northwich, Cheshire, has just won one of the prestigious RoSPA Occupational Health & Safety Awards for 2007.

The Gold Medal Award will be presented at a special ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, National Exhibition Centre, on Thursday, May 24 which runs alongside Safety & Health Expo 2007, the UK’s premier health and safety at work exhibition.

David Rawlins, RoSPA Awards Manager, said “PROjEN have demonstrated how seriously they take health and safety management and are a fine example to many other companies. We would like to see more organisations following their lead.”

John Taylor, Managing Director said “This is our sixth consecutive Gold Award and continuing proof of our employee’s attitude to Health & Safety. All at PROjEN pride themselves on not only completing everything we do for our clients to budget and on time, but also with safety placed above all else.”

The RoSPA awards are not just about reducing the number of accidents and cases of ill-health at work; they help to ensure that organisations have good health and safety management systems in place. Entering the awards scheme reinforces the message that good health and safety is good business and clearly demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to the achievement of high levels of performance in this crucial area.

The RoSPA Occupational Health & Safety Awards 2007 are sponsored by NEBOSH (The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health), the leading health and safety professional examining body.

The President of RoSPA, Baroness Anne Gibson of Market Rasen, Deputy President, Lord Jordan of Bournville and Vice-President, Lord Brougham & Vaux will host gala dinners on May 22 – 24 for representatives of award-winning organisations at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, with entertainment by top comedian Jimmy Carr.
