PROjEN awarded £multi-million Contract

PROjEN, the award winning Project Management Organisation is pleased to announce its continuing involvement with Greenergy Fuels Ltd and the ongoing £multi-million investment programme in its UK fuels infrastructure.

Greenergy Fuels Ltd one of the UK’s top 3 fuel suppliers along with partner organisation Vopak, have contracted PROjEN to upgrade an existing facility into state-of-the-art petrol and diesel blending and storage facility in Teesside. PROjEN are involved in the design and installation of further work at the Vopak, West Thurrock Terminal on the Thames which includes; 2 new five arm tanker loading racks, together with a new motor control centre and transformer substation.

The schedule for the investment programme is underway and PROjEN aim for beneficial use at the Teesside Site from summer 2009 and at the West Thurrock Terminal from early 2010.

Speaking today, Martin Seabrook, PROjEN’s MD – “we are delighted to have been selected by both Greenergy and Vopak to deliver these pieces of work. These assignments are key to their strategy for creating a more cost effective supply route, reducing cost and improving the quality of their service. Their choice of PROjEN as managing contractor is a huge complement; it is a big investment for both organisations and demonstrates Greenergy’s satisfaction of our previous work at their Immingham and Plymouth Sites.”
