PROjEN Celebrate Winning Two Top Awards

PROjEN, a specialist engineering and project management company, based in Preston Brook, Cheshire is extremely proud to announce that they have won both the Business of the Year and Positive Environmental Impact Awards at the Halton Business Awards 2013.

The result was announced at the awards ceremony held at the Runcorn Holiday Inn on Friday 26th April.  PROjEN’s Business Support Services Director David Elliott and Sales and Marketing Manager Shane Pugh attended the awards ceremony and collected the award on behalf of PROjEN.

The Halton Business Awards are highly respected amongst the local business community and beyond for their recognition and reward of excellence in business practise.

For the Business of the Year Award the judges commented:

“PROjEN has demonstrated that despite the economic downturn …. the implementation of sound business practices and principles, coupled with the drive to succeed through product development and innovative approaches to working with markets can make for successful business”.

For the Positive Environmental Impact Award judges commented:

“The launch and development of a new division (PROjEN BioEnergy) has enabled this company to work with a wide range of businesses to reduce the requirement for fossil based fuels, use waste materials in order to reduce costs and use energy more efficiently. All of this has led to the largest order book since its foundation”.

PROjEN are extremely proud to receive this external recognition for the work they do.  PROjEN’s Managing Director Martin Seabrook is delighted with the company’s success:

“It is a great honour to win both the Business of the Year and Environmental Award in these local business awards.  These awards are a testimony to the efforts and hard work of all PROjEN employees.   We have worked extremely hard in making PROjEN a good place to work and where everyone has a voice.  Being shortlisted for an award in the local community is also important and reflects our employees pride in working here and willingness to recommend us as a place to work.  It also demonstrates the high level of service we provide to our clients who we have long lasting relationships with”.

PROjEN has a successful track record in business awards and has been successful in being voted the Vale Royal Business of the Year in 2006 and also winning the first ever High Sheriff of Cheshire Award for Enterprise in 2007.  Other awards include three European Construction Institute Awards and in 2013 PROjEN secured their third RoSPA Presidents Award following 12 consecutive Gold Awards for outstanding Health & Safety performance.
