PROjEN expand pride awards with two pride award winners
With the continued growth and company development currently being experienced at PROjEN, the company has expanded its PRIDE award to include two winners every quarter, one for those based at the company’s headquarters in Cheshire, and another for those staff working on site at a clients manufacturing or processing facilities.
The voting for the latest PROjEN PRIDE Award was a very close run affair as usual, both for the site and head office based award. Project Manager Albi Enjuanes was rewarded for his outstanding contribution to the success of a site based project. Albi inherited a project with a few problems but was able to put it back on track through excellent leadership and by motivating others. In voting for Albi his colleagues commented that he is excellent at keeping everyone informed and involved during pressure situations.
The winner of the head office based award is Lisa McGowan who has been praised for her all round work attitude and her ability to “just get on with work with no fuss” and “willingness to take extra things on and work around problems”. Lisa was pivotal in the introduction of the Company’s new MIS system (Dynamics AX) and other client related systems which have added to the efficiencies of work life at PROjEN.
Intended to encourage team working and company involvement, the PROjEN PRIDE Award is open to all members of the PROjEN team and is presented quarterly at the core brief sessions with each ‘winner’ receiving £250 in M&S vouchers. The award has already proved instrumental in encouraging pride in the workplace and rewards good attitude and commitment to both client and company. All employees are aware of the positive impact a PRIDE attitude brings to PROjEN.
This is the ninth quarterly PRIDE award and Albi and Lisa join a growing list of extremely popular and hard working employees who have won the award.
Both Albi and Lisa were nominated for their positive attitude to working at PROjEN. When presenting the awards John Taylor managing director said “There are so many good hard working employees at PROjEN that it is hard to single out clear winners, but the extra work carried out by both of them over the last few months has made the decision just a little easier. With so many deserving winners and with the team getting bigger we have decided to award two PRIDE awards every quarter so hopefully this will make our judging just a little easier in future months.”
By epitomizing all that the PROjEN PRIDE Award stands for – PROjEN Recognition for Industry Diligence and Enthusiasm – Albi and Lisa’s attitude to work is an example to all to ensure PROjEN moves forward and continues to build on the success enjoyed by the company particularly during the last five years of company growth.
