Staff from PROjEN recorded there best ever statistics for completing the annual charity Swimathon at the local Northwich swimming pool on the evening of Sunday 15th March.

Sharon Bebbington, Angela Keegan, Marcus Royle, Mark Taylor, Matthew Cowell, Jonathan Britton and Lyndon Workman all helped to support the Rotary Club of Northwich with their annual charity event to raise money for local worthy causes whilst helping to keep fit in the process. PROjEN Piranha’s completed a total of 182 lengths of the 25 meter pool in 55 minutes which works out at a total distance of 4550 meters or just over 4 and a half kilometres at an average speed of just short of 5 kilometres and hour.

PROjEN would like to specifically thank their corporate sponsors Lakers, Heap and Partners, Clancy, Mainstone, County Commercial, Rhyal, Jordan Engineering and Studley Engineering, for their generous donations for the event and helping make it a great success for all the charities involved.

The Northwich Rotary Club hosted their annual Swimathon at the Moss Farm Pool, Northwich in support of key charities and the “PROjEN Piranha’s” team were participating in the event for the fifth consecutive year.

Martin Seabrook, Managing Director commenting after the event said “It is great to see PROjEN staff’s continued commitment to this event. It’s the fifth year now PROjEN have taken part and whilst some of the swimmers have changed from last year, namely Katie getting married on the Saturday, this is now firmly established on the PROjEN calendar of annual events. It is fantastic that they have taken time out of their weekend to participate and raise funds for these worthwhile causes”
