PROjEN raise over £2000 for Charity Swimathon

PROjEN, the award winning Project Management Company based in Northwich, Cheshire has just raised £2,037.70 which will benefit both national and locally based charities.

In March 2009, the Northwich Rotary Club hosted their annual Swimathon at the Moss Farm Pool, Northwich in support of their nominated charities. The “PROjEN Piranha’s” team were participating in the event for the fifth consecutive year.

The President of the Rotary Club, Nick Gidney (pictured) attended PROjEN’s Head Office in Northwich to receive the cheque which was presented by PROjEN’s Finance Director, Marcus Royle.

The 2009 Swimathon Team consisted of Sharon Bebbington, Angela Keegan, Marcus Royle, Mark Taylor, Matthew Cowell, Jonathan Britton and Lyndon Workman who all gave up their time to help raise money for local worthy causes whilst keeping fit in the process. This year they topped all previous years’ records, managing to complete a total of 182 lengths in the 55 minutes allowed.

Martin Seabrook, PROjEN’s Managing Director commenting after the event said “It is great to see PROjEN staff’s continued commitment to this event. It is the fifth year that PROjEN have taken part and it is fantastic that they have taken time out of their weekend to participate and raise funds at this not only fun but beneficial event.”
