PROjEN return to ADBA 2013 | PM PROjEN News

PROjEN, a specialist engineering and project management company, based in Preston Brook, Cheshire, has once again ventured and exhibited at the ‘Anaerobic Digestion and Biogas Association’ show at the NEC in Birmingham, which took place on the 3rd and 4th of July 2013.

This was PROjEN’s third visit to the ADBA show, and with another successful year in the BioEnergy sector, including the design build and commissioning of a 1.2MW AD plant at AC Shropshire PROjEN had high expectations for this show. The expansion and growth of both the ADBA Show and the technology used within this industry over the last three years has been clear, with the Show now boasting 240 separate exhibitors.

Despite a quiet first hour to the show and some strong competition, the knowledge of our lead technical consultant Dr Les Gornall, working in combination with Shane Pugh our Sales and Marketing Manager and Terry Brownhill the BioEnergy Development Manager ensured that the stand remained constantly busy throughout the day, resulting in some exciting leads.

The show was also an excellent opportunity to interact with customers and to gain a better insight into what they were looking for. Les and Terry were also able to share some of their considerable knowledge through the free seminars and conferences that ran over the two days, offering impartial help and advice and resulting in Les having a semi-permanent crowd in tow.

Guy Phipps; a Placement student from Manchester Metropolitan University, who is currently spending this year working with PROjEN, and attended the show commented:

“Despite being thrown in at the deep end, this was an exciting two days and I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to immerse myself within the market, interacting with customers gaining experience and confidence as the ADBA show progressed”

After such a successful show PROjEN have placed their order to return to the NEC for the 2014 show on the 2nd and 3rd of July.
