PROjEN sign Cabot Carbon Alliance Agreement

PROjEN, the award winning, multi-disciplined Project Management Company based in Northwich, Cheshire have signed an alliance agreement with Cabot Carbon based in Ellesmere Port to assist them in the implementation of their projects.

Cabot Carbon manufactures carbon black, traditionally used as a reinforcement agent in tyres and today more diversely in plastics, toners, and printing inks. They have been working with PROjEN since April 2007, when the alliance agreement was signed.

The alliance will enable PROjEN to become more aligned to Cabot Carbon, tailoring its services more closely to Cabot Carbon’s business needs. PROjEN’s Martin Slaney is managing the alliance, and will be ensuring the success of the relationship along with his team.

To date PROjEN have provided DSEAR/ ATEX consultancy, performed Tank Farm Studies, Risk Assessments (including HAZOP Chairing) and carried out a number of front end / feasibility studies.

PROjEN’s Managing Director, John Taylor comments “PROjEN are extremely pleased to be developing our relationship with Cabot Carbon and we look forward to building on our recent project successes. Being management owned, our business culture is very much about working in partnership. By entering into this agreement it is clear that Cabot Carbon share this philosophy which can only be of benefit to us both.
