PROjEN wish farewell to Peter Jobling
PM PROjEN is a multi-disciplined project management and engineering consultancy. We are a management owned SME that designs and builds industrial projects for the Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas and BioEnergy market sectors. PROjEN has said farewell to a key member of the PROjEN staff family following the retirement of our Recruitment Manager, Peter Jobling.
Peter has had a long and fruitful career; he began back in 1967 as an Engineering Draughtsman, and then took on several engineering recruitment management and consultancy roles before joining PROjEN in March of 2007.
As Recruitment Manager, Peter has been directly involved in the hiring of over 300 staff and contractors in his 7 year stretch with PROjEN, which has obviously had a huge impact on both the Company and our culture. Peter was highly effective at hand picking the correct fit for PROjEN personnel and is a key reason as to why we are able to consistently maintain a staff turnover rate below 10% and an average employment satisfaction score of 90%.
Despite Peter’s wish that no fuss should be made, PROjEN could not let his retirement go unmarked. Staff held a collection and presented Peter with a top quality Whisky and hip flask; while the company presented Peter with a new fishing rod which we hope he will put to good use now he has a lot more time on his hands.
Peter thanked everyone for their kindness and before he left, Peter stated that working for PROjEN “has been the best job of my Career”. Peter will be missed greatly and we wish him all the very best for the future.
To ensure continuity Peter’s replacement will commence employment during April.
