PRIDE, which is an acronym for PROjEN Recognition for Industry, Diligence & Enthusiasm was originally launched to foster team working and company involvement and over the years, it has done just that with over 20 employees being awarded at the company’s quarterly core briefs’ and receiving £250 worth of Marks and Spencer Vouchers.
Winners since the PRIDE Award’s inception have included, Pauline Yeomans, John Poppitt, Shane Pugh, Chris Shaw and Gillian McCandless to name but a few….
The new re-vamped award brings in 5 new categories – 1) Best Contribution to Health and Safety Awareness, 2) Best Cost Saving/ Efficiency Idea, 3) Customer Focus/ Proactive Colleague Assistance, 4) Client Award, 5) “Green Award”.
PROjEN personnel and client are encouraged to nominate individuals, teams, departments and even sites under the award categories, with the winners being announced at the company core briefs.
Martin Seabrook, PROjEN’s MD commented “the PRIDE Award has a great history within PROjEN and its success to date has been phenomenal in encouraging staff to go just that little bit further…. Under the new categories it is hoped that staff identify further with our core values and that individuals, teams and departments are publicly recognised for going that extra mile.”
