Promotion at PROjEN for Dave Berry

PROjEN, the award winning Project Management Company based at Northwich, Cheshire, has just promoted key team member Dave Berry to senior project engineer.

Dave joined PROjEN in May 2004 and made an immediate contribution as a mechanical section leader working on a number of projects for PROjEN’s clients. He was instrumental in introducing a photogrammetric approach to developing 3D models using dedicated AutoPLANT software – something which resulted in PROjEN winning the Bentley Excellence Technology Award in Baltimore, USA.

Dave is an experienced senior project design engineer within the oil, gas, nuclear and pharmaceutical market sectors. He has wide commercial experience and is well versed in the use of professional engineering applications and CAD systems.

Before joining PROjEN, Dave built up a formidable CV gaining valuable experience working for engineering and manufacturing companies including Astra-Zeneca, Jacobs Engineering, M.W Kellogg Ltd and Dresser-Rand UK Ltd.

In his new role, Dave will take a lead role on a recently awarded Project (known as project Zebra by the client, the details of which are confidential). Dave will be leading a team of Engineers and Designers to produce a +/- 10% estimate suitable for capital sanction by April 2007. Once sanctioned it is intended that Dave will implement and manage the project through detail design to project completion.

Tony Lea of PROjEN said “I would like to wish Dave all the best in this new position. He has been outstanding in his role of Mechanical Section Leader and I am confident he will be able to take this winning attitude into his new job. Whoever takes up his office role will have a hard act to follow!!”
